open space The company that employs me is willing to save costs They put us in open-space in which I get lost But they made savings that's what matters the most It's very noisy everybody talks at the same time It's not easy we are past our prime It drives me crazy It costs a dollar to save a dime I know everything on my colleagues personal lives The nickname of their children, of their dogs, of their cats, of their wives And it's so exciting to learn all about their strives I remain quiet in my little peace of space Observing and studying the so strange human race But no way to work in that choppy and noisy place A good friend of mine plays drums on his desk With the stupid phone rings, it's a unstoppable contest I look a pain each time I request a little rest I work in an open space And I wish the big bosses worked in such a place
